General description:   This course is a study of classic and modern methods of encryption, applications to public-key ciphers, random number generators, attacks on encryption systems, error correcting codes; and computational number theory.
     
PREREQUISITE:   Math 342
     
Time and Location:   Tuesday and Thursday 10:00-11:15, CSH 101
